The course focuses on exploration and analysis of existing policy and legislative documents pertaining to pre-tertiary education in Ghana. In addition, the course focuses on analysis of the existing and the New NaCCA syllabi for teaching physical education and music and dance. The course is designed to link up with pedagogical principles and theories of learning in physical education (including Guggisberg, Siedentop, WHO, UN Charter-PE) and music and dance (understanding the works of Kodally, Dalcroze Carl Orff, Suzuki, Gordon, Nzewi, Ghana Cultural Policy Etc.). Furthermore, this course will look at TLMs, facilities and other resources that promote effective teaching and learning in the disciplines.
