This lesson is a build-up on the previous week’s lesson and focuses on equipping student teachers with knowledge about the distinctive features associated with intellectual, emotional and physical domains of the early childhood, middle childhood and adolescence
stages. Differences between and similarities in male and female development characteristics will be explored in detail. This would enable student teachers appreciate themselves and varying characteristics of their learners. The implications of the key milestones across these domains and their implications for teaching across the three specialisms in the B.Ed.
curriculum shall be explored.
