LESSON NINE (9) Kolb’s learning style and Educational Implications
The lesson focuses on Kolb’s experiential learning model and its application in the Ghanaian context. Each of the four approaches namely; Accommodator (Concrete Experience + Active Experiment); Converger (Abstract Conceptualization + Active Experiment); Diverger (Concrete Experience + Reflective Observation); Assimilator (Abstract Conceptualization + Reflective Observation) will be thoroughly discussed and their connection to practice
highlighted. This will enable student teachers know themselves and appreciate what they learn and how their pupils also learn to enable them to support their learning.
