LESSON SIX (6) MORAL DEVELOPMENT AND MORALITY IN THE CLASSROOM

In this lesson, the stages of moral development as proposed Kohlberg and Piaget are discussed in relation to both school/classroom and general life experiences. Strategies to promote morality and professional values in the classroom are also explored. This would enable student teachers demonstrate acceptable professional ethics and values when teaching pupils who fall within any of the three stages or categories of development.
